This venomous snake species, native to Africa, is no exception to the universal need for water, especially in hot climates where dehydration is a constant challenge.
The viral clip captured the remarkable scene of a person sitting on the grass, holding a glass of water while the black cobra cautiously approached. Without any signs of fear, the individual allowed the snake to dip its mouth into the glass, where it was seen sipping water calmly.
The captivating video was shared by an Indian Twitter user under IFS Susanta Nanda’s tweet, who had also posted an adorable video of ducklings and a baby monkey sharing watermelon. Both clips have garnered tremendous attention, with the duckling and monkey video reaching over 23,000 views and the snake drinking water video going viral with more than 1,100 views.
